Matt had been working very hard at physical therapy - three days a week for three to four hours a day. You would think that doing all that work would get him back to work in no time - well we found out it wasn't.
He was supposed to return to work on June 14th, but could not get the okay from his physical therapist. The therapist and doctor decided he needed more therapy before returning to work. He was to return to the doctor in two weeks for a re-check to see if he was ready to return to work.
This was not great news to either of us. Disability pay was making things a bit tight and we were ready for Matt's normal income to return. Matt would have to keep working at therapy and hopefully would return to work in two weeks rather than four.
