A Visit to the Apple Orchard

Ocotber 10, 2010

We made our second annual trip to the Anderson and Girls Apple Orchard in Stanton. Like last year, we met Penny, Perry, Jenny, Austin and Kennen there. The first thing we did was to take a few (okay a lot) pictures of Madison because she was almost 18 months at the time. I managed to get her really smiling and I got some of my favorite pictures of her. (See pictures in next post.)

We also snapped a few pictures of Madison with her cousins, and a couple of her with the pumpkin family!

After pictures we went on to check out the animals. Madison seemed to enjoy looking at the animals and even fed some ducks with her dad.

After checking out most of the animals outside, we went into the bird building where Madison was able to feed some birds! The birds were right next to her and she wasn't scared at all, she loved it!

We took a few minutes to have Jenny snap a family picture!

It was a beautiful and warm autumn day! (It got up to 79 that day!) We had a great time with the Huber family!

Go Blue - Part Two

October 9, 2010

On one of our warm fall U of M game days this year, Madison was able to wear her U of M Cheerleading dress, and I must admit, she did look too cute!

Running

September 28, 2010

Madison started running! She actually may have started before this, but we just starting noticing it because our house isn't very big, so it doesn't give her a lot of room to run.

Growing and Learning

September 26, 2010

Madison keeps doing new things every day! It is so much fun to watch her grow and learn! In this video she is doing three things. ..

1. Throwing things away - she loves to do this. If she finds anything around the house that needs to be thrown away, she picks it up and takes it right to the trash. What is funny is that she really knows what needs to be thrown away, like wrappers, etc.

2. Petting the Cat - she has now REALLY discovered the cat and loves to pet him, talk to him, feed him, and give him kisses.

3. Animal noises - This has been so much fun to watch her learn her animal noises!

Go Blue!

September 4, 2010

It was the first U of M Football game of the season, so we had to break out the appropriate apparel. Madison wore the jersey her Godfather Chad bought her and the football legwarmers I bought her. I don't have any idea if Michigan won or lost the game, but I know Madison looked adorable!

Toilet Papering

September 2, 2010

What kid doesn't like toilet paper? One day I turned my back for a few seconds and Madison had demolished a pack of opened toilet paper. She especially loves to take toilet paper or tissue and blow her nose, or wipe her nose, or blow or wipe anybody else's nose. She'll wipe her doll's nose, she'll even wipe someone's nose on the computer when we are skyping them!

New Sprinkler

August 29, 2010

Madison's first sprinkler experience wasn't so great. . so when I found a cute lady bug sprinkler I decided to buy it for her. She seemed to enjoy her ladybug sprinkler.
