What do you call two bouncy seats, one borrowed swing, one car seat, and one soothing seat? A mess? Nope, pure bliss.
This afternoon, I was trying to get my crying daughter to sleep, I decided to put in the new Jewel lullaby CD I had just bought and started dancing with Madison. About half way into the first song, she started to fall asleep.
As I was enjoying holding my daughter close and listening to the soothing music, I looked around the house and noticed how much it had changed. Just six and a half weeks ago, my living room had a lot less clutter. No bouncy seats or swings. I then thought back to the two years we spent trying to have a child and how at times I never imagined my living room would look the way it does now. My eyes welled up with tears and I gave my daughter a kiss. Life is good.
beautiful reflection! I had Kelly take a picture of me a couple weeks ago with Tobin asleep in my arms in our rocking chair. It had been a long time since any of mine had done that and it's likely to be the last time for Tobin so thought I better capture it. continue to enjoy that sweet babe:)
