During the sign of peace, we were able to shake every one's hand in church! Then, after communion, father asked if we could bring up our baby. He took her and made the sign of the cross with her as he gave the final blessing. It was a moving Christmas moment.
After church we headed home. The roads were pretty bad at first but got better by the time we got to Ionia. When we got home Madison took a nap and soon it was time to pack up and head to the Bertrams!
When we got to my mom and dad's, everybody had to get their Madison fix. So while she was passed around everybody enjoyed some hors'devours.

Soon it was time to open gifts! Madison got to open the first gift because she was the youngest! (Technically Matt and Melissa's baby is the youngest, but they let Madison open her gift first!) Her first gift was from the Millers and it was a hairdryer, which was perfect because she is just starting to get hair! (He he!)

From Grandma and Grandpa Bertram she got a toy fishbowl, and two books. One was "Oh Little Town of Bethlehem". It was really neat because it lights up and Madison loved it right away!

Godmother Melissa made Madison some special gifts for Christmas. She made her some hair clips and decorated a onsie. They were all adorable, and Madison looks adorable in them!

After we opened gifts we ate dinner. It was yummy as usual! After dinner we put on Madison's pajamas. She played a little and I had to take a few pictures!

It was a wonderful Christmas with the Bertrams!
