We had so much to be Thankful for this year on Thanksgiving. This year we were blessed with Madison, then blessed with her recovery from her heart condition. It sure was a scary time when she was in the hospital, and actually even more scary looking back on it now, but it's in the past and we have only wonderful things to look forward to!
We spent our first Thanksgiving as a family by first heading up north to see Matt's family. We had a nice time, ate, watched a little bit of the Lion's game, then headed to south to spend time with my side of the family.
Soon after we arrived at mom and dad's we sat down for dinner. After the blessing, Matt and Melissa announced that they were expecting!!! We were all very surprised and VERY excited! Madison will have a cousin that will be just a year younger than her! (I'm really hoping for a healthy baby girl cousin for Madison to play with!)
"What! I'm getting a new cousin!"
It was also brother Matt's birthday so of course, we had to sing Happy Birthday to him!
It was a enjoyable and memorable Thanksgiving!
