Madison's Eyes

Madison's eye color has been a popular topic of discussion since shortly after she was born. Like most babies, she was born with blue eyes. We assumed they would turn brown since she had two brown eyed parents. Well, weeks went by and they stayed bright blue. We still assumed they would change, but we actually had a little hope that they would stay blue since her Grandpa Huber(Matt's dad) had blue eyes. His Grandpa Sawyer also has blue eyes.

Well, they didn't change and didn't change, until in June, a friend of mine pointed out that one of them was turning green! We were a bit disappointed and assumed they would soon both turn green or turn green then brown.

We were wrong again, and for the longest time, she had one blue eye and one green eye. (See picture below from August.) Now, the blue eye seems to finally be turning green. So she finally is getting matching eyes. We'll see if they stay green or turn brown! Of course we really don't care what color eyes she has, she is perfect in every way to us!
