It's 9:30 on Thursday, July 2nd. I can't sleep even though I have had very little sleep within the past 3 days, so I thought I would type a quick update.
Madison continues to have a high heart rate. The SVT seems to have subsided and she has not had new prolonged episodes of it. They are still trying to figure out why she has the elevated heart rate. Some signs point to hyperthyroidism, but that seems to be a debate among a few of the doctors.
They are also playing with different medications. They took her off one today that may possibly put her back into SVT, but so far so good.
Keep Praying!!!
Thanks so much for the blog updates!
ReplyDeleteWE ARE PRAYING!!!
love,
Matt & Melissa
Gwen and Matt,
ReplyDeleteWe are praying for all three of you! Praying for strength, wisdom, and peace for you AND the hospital staff as you sort out what will help your little girl. Please let us know if there is anything we can do.
We love you! Rachel, Dan and boys
Thank you for the update. Continuing to pray for Madison and your family.

It was so good to see you, Matt, and Madison yesterday. She is a little fighter and was even spunky enough to give a few dirty looks to the nurses who had to move her around when all she wanted to do was sleep...oh, is she like her mama! Madison IS in good hands, not only by the hospital staff, but all of the people who love her...most of all her parents! Hoping you guys got some rest last night and your parents were able to give you and Matt some much needed respite. We are continuing to pray for all of you and hope you feel God's loving arms around you during this very difficult time.
ReplyDeleteLove you! Rach, Dan, and boys
Gwen,
ReplyDeleteI was completely stunned when I checked the blog tonight and read about all that your family has been through in the past week. We will be keeping Madison in our prayers and hope to read good news about the procedure tomorrow. We know that she is in very good hands at Mott but we hope you are all home very soon.
