Four Month Check-Up
On September 16th, Madison had her four month check-up with the pediatrician. She was 25 3/8 inches long which put her in the 73rd percentile. (Hopefully this means she'll have a little height like her mom.) She was fourteen pounds and three ounces, which put her in the 44th percentile.

Madison's 20 Week Pictures
On September 13th, Madison was 20 weeks! We were at mom and dads, so after dinner, we went up to the rosary garden to take a few pictures. Here they are! If you want to see a few more, click here.

Eating Cereal
On September 11th, we gave Madison cereal for the first time. We started a little later than four months because she came a little early. She did okay, and she's still getting used to it. We can't believe how big she is getting. When she was born, feeding her food seemed so far away, and it's already here.

Big Day
On August 26th Madison went to daycare for the first time. I of course was sad. I didn't want to separate from my sweet Madison. I knew she was going to be in such good hands and she was also going to be very close to my school, BUT as all moms know . . . it's still hard.
For her first day, she went for just a few hours in the morning while I worked in my classroom. The other kids at daycare were so excited and immediately loved her up! I of course took a few pictures!

So I survived the morning and I picked her up around noon. Ms. Kelly, our daycare provider warned me that daycare would tire her out! So after I picked Madison up from daycare, I took her back to my classroom so I could work some more. Madison fell asleep on the way back to school and stayed sleeping. She slept, and slept, and slept. In fact she slept so long, she started to worry me. She was even sleeping in her car seat, which she hates!
After a few hours, she finally seemed to start to wake up. I took her out of her car seat, but she didn't seem to be waking up. I was worried, but tried to convince myself not to overreact. Well, after a few minutes of not waking up, she started to seem even lethargic. I began to get really worried and called the cardiologist.
Well, long story short, the cardiologist suggested we go to the ER. We did and shortly after we got there, she started acting fine! Obviously they checked her out and after a couple of hours, we were sent home. We chalked it up to just being really tired!
Well it's been a few weeks since that day, and as I type up the story, I do worry a bit that it was something more than just being really tired, because she hasn't acted like that since. I guess I wouldn't be a mom if I didn't worry.
